Torsten Goods ist einer von Deutschlands besten und erfolgreichsten Jazz-
Gitarristen und Jazz-Pop/Soul-Sängern, kurz: der „deutsche George
Benson“ (SZ). Der 44-jährige ist außerdem deutscher Musikautorenpreisträger
und wurde für seine sechs bisherigen Solo-Alben, die meisten davon beim
renommierten Jazzlabel ACT, zweimal für den Echo Jazznominiert. Goods zählt
mit unzähligen Tourneen durch Deutschland, Russland, China und ganz
Europa mit seiner eigenen Band zu den festen Größen der internationalen
Szene. Zudem ist er an vielen anderen Projekten beteiligt, tourte 15 Jahre lang
mit Sarah Connor, spielte Konzerte mit Till Brönner oder Nils Landgren und
verantwortet die künstlerische Leitung des Festivals Jazz am Fluss/Klassik Am
Fluss in Erlangen. Sein letztes Album „Soul Searching“ stieg mit Platz 2 in die
Media Control Jazz Charts im September 2023 ein.

German music author prize and has been twice nominated for the Echo
Jazzprize, for his six solo albums, most of which were released by the famous
jazz label ACT. With countless tours through Germany, Russia, China and
Europe along with his own band, Goods is one of the established greats on the
international scene. He’s also involved in other projects including touring with
German popstar Sarah Connor for 15 years, appearing in concerts with Till
Brönner or Nils Landgren and is artistic director of the Festivals Jazz/ and
Classic On The Lake in Erlangen. His last album „Soul Searching“ hit the
German media control jazz charts with a Number 2 entry in September 2023.
